WAVE Attends Global Conference Sponsored by U.S. Government

The Global Entrepreneurship Summit brings together the world's most promising leaders in technology, healthcare, and social impact under one roof. It's kind of like the Olympics of Entrepreneurship — over 140 countries are represented — and it's held ever year in a different location. Last year, it was India, and the year before that, Kenya.

The idea is to connect investors, government officials, and companies with solutions that empower the greater good. Since it's inception in 2010, GES has connected entrepreneurs with over $1 billion in new capital.

This year, GES was held in The Hague, Netherlands, and WAVE was one of the companies lucky enough to make it past the rigorous selection process.

WAVE CEO Mark Caron flew off to The Hague to be one of the 3,000 participants in the week-long conference. One-on-one mentorship sessions, speeches with Ivanka Trump, Queen Máxima of the Netherlands, and CEO of Royal Philips Frans van Houten are just a few of the packed events WAVE was invited to!

Overall, the Global Entrepreneurship Summit was a powerhouse for good ideas, invigorating and stimulating. As for WAVE, it gave us the opportunity to be known on the global stage, especially in Europe. CEO Mark Caron describes the potential growth in the European Market:

"I've met people quite interested in our product, deploying in Netherlands and using that as a base to expand throughout Europe. Netherlands has a very swim-centric culture so this is a great fit".

Thanks to the US State Department and Government of Netherlands for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Here's to promoting good ideas, saving lives, and together, making the world a better place! Oh, and also, Rockstar Robots!
